Villa Carlia

Villa Carlia, Bolvedro

The Villa is located on the western side of Lake Como in Bolvedro, a picturesque village well-known for its historic and artistic beauties, as well as for its unusual microclimate, with temperatures 5 degrees higher than in any other location around the lake.
Built in 1676, Villa Carlia stands at the top of a slope, connected to the main road by a long stairway, one of the property’s most distinguishing characteristics, together with its sober architecture style and elegant park.
Its impressive entrance has two symmetrical terraces with four geometrical flowerbeds. The view of the lake, part of the eastern shore all the way to the enchanting Lavedo peninsula, is absolutely spectacular.
This sumptuous villa has a large hall on the ground floor and a second floor composed of two independent properties with a total area of 330 sqm. The front garden overlooking the lake and a charming vegetable garden at the rear are two additional features of the villa.

The ground floor hall, its ceiling decorated with original plasterwork and frescoes, is an ideal location for entertainment: in addition to the beautiful garden it represents an exceptional location for events and parties.
On the first floor, the two independent properties enjoy beautiful lake views.
