Villa Roccabruna

This villa was once called Villa Pasta, after the name of its resident in the 1800 – Giuditta Pasta – one of the most famous lyric performers of the day. A neoclassical villa with vast rooms and an elegant portico with loggia, the original structure was actually demolished and rebuilt in 1904, taking on the new and current name of Villa Roccabruna. The villa, situated in the beautiful landscape of the lake between Moltrasio and Blevio, has been transformed into a 5-star hotel, maintaining the eclectic Renaissance style of its most recent design.
The history of its almost legendary past, when the villa was the residence of Giuditta Pasta, the muse of Vincenzo Bellini, is clearly echoed in its beautiful gardens.
